Live | President Xi Jinping arrives in Macao before 25th anniversary of city's return to Motherland
This year's Dec. 20 marks the 25th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland. Today (Dec. 8) afternoon, Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, President of the People's Republic of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, arrived in Macao via a special plane.
Xi will participate in a series of activities celebrating the 25th anniversary of Macao's return to the Motherland over the next three days (Dec. 18 to 20), including attending the celebration conference and the inauguration ceremony of the sixth administration of the Macao Special Administrative Region, as well as inspecting the SAR.
