A traffic accident occurred in the Central and Western District of Hong Kong Island this morning (Dec. 17). At 7:55 AM, a Tesla private car and a seven-seater vehicle collided on Pok Fu Lam Road near the Hong Kong Society for the Blind. Both vehicles sustained significant front-end damage, with debris scattered across the road. The front of the seven-seater vehicle even began smoking briefly.
One driver complained of chest pain and was sent to Queen Mary Hospital for treatment by ambulance.
Due to the accident, the Transport Department announced that some lanes on Pok Fu Lam Road near the Ebenezer School & Home for the Visually Impaired remain closed in both directions. Drivers are advised to use the remaining lanes, but heavy traffic congestion is reported in the area.
