In Tai Po, near the junction of Lam Kam Road and Mui Shue Hang on the Tolo Highway heading towards Sheung Shui, two traffic accidents occurred around 6 p.m. today (Dec. 2).
The incidents involved 10 vehicles, including 7 private cars, 2 light goods vehicles, and 1 heavy goods vehicle, resulting in 9 injuries.
Multiple ambulances arrived at the scene to take the injured to the hospital for treatment.
All three lanes at the scene were temporarily closed, causing severe traffic congestion, with the queue heading towards Sheung Shui stretching back to near Tai Po Kau. By 6:48 p.m., two lanes were reopened.
