Citybus said today (Dec. 13) that it will operate the Christmas Illumination Route from tomorrow (Dec. 14) to Dec. 30, and add more than 510 extra trips from Dec. 21 to Jan. 2, 2025, to enhance its open-top buses, local tourist routes, Citybus Airport Express and feeder services at various boundary crossings.
According to Citybus, more than 180 buses will be added to the three open-top sightseeing routes H1, H2 and H2K during the Christmas season. In addition, the team has also launched a limited Christmas-themed open-top bus, "Chilling Spectre Roadster", which is decorated with vintage snowflakes, Christmas flowers and various other decorations.
During the Christmas and New Year period, Citybus will enhance its bus services at the Airport, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Port, Shenzhen Bay Port and Heung Yuen Wai Control Point, as well as deploying additional frequencies to major tourist attractions such as Stanley and the Peak. In addition, Citybus Airport Express will enhance its morning services starting from the 21st of this month, including overnight routes NA10, NA12, NA29 and early morning departures of all daytime routes.
