Airport Express to offer free rides for children and half-price rides for seniors starting from Dec. 13
Christmas and New Year holidays are approaching. The Airport Express of the MTR is offering a limited-time promotion with various discounts for children, adults, and seniors, including free rides for children.
Free Rides for Children
Starting today, children only need to present a valid Child Octopus to enjoy free rides on the Airport Express between the airport and downtown stations (Hong Kong, Kowloon, or Tsing Yi stations).
Promotion Period: Dec. 13, 2024, to Feb. 9, 2025
Children's Age: 3 to 11 years old
Promotion Details: Child Octopus with positive balances
(Children who use this free ride promotion within the promotional period are not eligible for free MTR shuttle services.)
Ride Together on the Airport Express to enjoy a group ticket promotional fare up to 37% off
Regardless of traveling in groups of 2, 3, or 4, all passengers can enjoy fare discounts, with savings of up to 37%. People can purchase Single Journey Tickets at the Airport Express Customer Service Centre (excluding AsiaWorld-Expo Station).

Airport Express JoyYou Card offer
By presenting a valid JoyYou Card at the Airport Express Customer Service Centre before passing through the gate, holders can redeem the offer and use the card for traveling on the Airport Express from Hong Kong, Kowloon or Tsing Yi Station to the airport, or vice versa, at discounted Octopus fares, saving even more on their journeys!
Airport Express taxi interchange offer
From 8 October 2024 to 31 March 2025, by presenting a taxi receipt or proof of HK$50 or above issued on the same day at the Airport Express Customer Service Centre of Hong Kong, Kowloon or Tsing Yi Station, people can enjoy a 50% discount on Airport Express Octopus fares.
