
On the afternoon of Dec. 11, only 4 kilometers away from the Shenzhen Bay Port, a high-rise residential building of Yuefu Phase II, Yuehai Street, Nanshan District, Shenzhen City, a deflagration accident occurred, resulting in one person's death. According to China News Agency (CNA) on Dec. 12, one of the residences in the residential building involved in the incident was put up for foreclosure (court-enforced auction) three times this year, which all ended in abortive auctions.
Mainland media cited information that since May this year, flat C on the 27th floor of the fire floor has been foreclosed on three times, all ending in the abortive auction. The first auction ended on May 23 this year at an appraised price of about 20.243 million yuan (RMB, the same below), and the last auction ended on October 11 this year at a price of about 16.1941 million yuan, with zero bids submitted.
It has been reported that the owner of the real estate is a senior executive surnamed Lin of an automobile industry company in Shenzhen which is involved in a local bank loan contract dispute case. The bank applied for compulsory execution, and the court according to the law seized Lin's executor of the real estate (flat C, 27th floor, building 1, Yuefu Phase II). A person familiar with the matter also confirmed that one of the fire residential properties for Lin's real estate, Lin's company with operating abnormalities has been missing for more than two years. The house in Yuefu II was also foreclosed on three times, all abortive auctions.
Another mainland media quoted on-site rescue workers said, after a preliminary investigation, the fire is located in flat C, 27th floor, building 1, Yuefu Phase II, Nanshan District, Yuehai Street, Shenzhen. The cause of the fire is the gas explosion, which is still under investigation. The fire floors are mainly for the 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st floors.
