Exhibition featuring 628 giant panda sculptures held at Ngong Ping Village starting this Saturday
Ngong Ping 360 announced today (Dec. 12) that starting the day after tomorrow (Dec. 14), a large exhibition featuring 628 giant panda sculptures will be held at Ngong Ping Village for two days. Additionally, around 70 panda sculptures will be on display at the village until Jan. 1 next year, and panda sculptures will also be placed in five cable car cabins for passengers to take photos.
According to Ngong Ping 360, in addition to the large panda exhibition, they are introducing a multimedia exhibition themed the Three Kingdoms. There will be several shops with local Hong Kong characteristics, including an exhibition celebrating the 75th anniversary of a local plastic brand and the opening of a Hong Kong-style cafe.
It has added multiple Muslim-friendly facilities and received certification from a Muslim-friendly tourism rating organization in September this year, aiming to attract tourists from various regions.
In response to the resumption of "multiple-entry" endorsement for Shenzhen residents, it collaborates with mainland online platforms to offer ticket discounts to mainland university students. The initial results have been promising.
Currently, ten newly purchased panoramic cable car cabins are undergoing final adjustments and awaiting approval from the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, with plans to put them into service before the Lunar New Year. By then, the total number of panoramic cabins at Ngong Ping 360 will increase to 21.
