CE has luncheon with HK business leaders in Beijing, expressing gratitude for support of HK govt
Chief Executive John Lee and his team arrived in Beijing yesterday (Dec. 11). He posted on social media sharing his pleasure in having a luncheon with several Hong Kong business leaders in Beijing today (Dec. 12), expressing gratitude for their support of the Hong Kong SAR government.
He said that the business association has always been dedicated to promoting cooperation between Beijing and Hong Kong in areas such as trade, culture, youth, and innovation. This includes regularly co-hosting business forums and sharing sessions with the Office of the Government of the HKSAR in Beijing, providing information on issues of concern for Hong Kong residents and businesses, and working together with the Hong Kong government to bring continuous new business opportunities to Hong Kong. They also offer opportunities for young Hong Kong residents in Beijing to participate in internships, organizing various activities to unite young people from Hong Kong.
He also mentioned his satisfaction with the business association's leading role in promoting complementary advantages and mutual benefits between Beijing and Hong Kong. He hopes to continue strengthening cooperation to facilitate exchanges between the two regions.
