Chief Executive John Lee went to Beijing for a duty visit today (Dec. 11). He arrived at Hong Kong International Airport this afternoon wearing a dark blue suit with a red tie.
After getting out of the car, the CE greeted the media but did not stop for interviews. Although there was a designated media area on-site, the CE did not engage with the press and went straight into the airport without pausing.
Lee will pay a duty visit to Beijing from today (Dec. 11) to Dec. 14 to brief state leaders on the latest economic, social and political situation in Hong Kong. The Director of the Chief Executive's Office, Carol Yip, and the Private Secretary to the Chief Executive, Vicki Kwok, will join the visit.
