The Hospital Authority is preparing the second ten-year hospital development plan. Today (Dec. 10). Mr. Thomas Chan, the Permanent Secretary for Health, stated in a radio program that the Hospital Authority is studying how to distribute medical service facilities based on future population numbers and structures. One of the considerations is that the Hong Kong Island network will no longer be divided into East and West.
