Taxis prepared for visitors as cruise Spectrum of the Seas arrives at HK
The cruise ship "Spectrum of the Seas" arrived at the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal this morning (Dec. 6), and passengers have been disembarking one after another. Dozens of taxis were queued up on-site waiting for passengers, who could board the taxis directly without having to wait in line.
Some mainland Chinese tourists found the terminal's transportation convenient with a sufficient number of taxis available. Others chose to leave by bus, mentioning clear instructions from staff and a smooth process.
Jeff Bent, Managing Director of the Worldwide Cruise Terminals, inspected the site and stated that they would continue to monitor the traffic arrangements at the terminal.
The "Spectrum of the Seas," which departed from Shanghai, carried approximately 4,900 passengers from various places and docked at the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal today, until the afternoon of the same day. Over the next two months, the cruise will use Hong Kong as a seasonal homeport, offering a total of 8 voyages.
