On Dec. 3, China won 8-1 against the US in the 3rd round of stage 1 of the ITTF Mixed Team World Cup 2024 in Chengdu, China won three consecutive matches.
In the mixed doubles match, Lin Gaoyuan/Wang Yidi defeated Nandan Naresh/Kayla Goodwin 3-0 with scores of 11-3, 11-7, 11-8.
In the women's singles, Sun Yingsha defeated Jessica Reyes Lai 3-0 with scores of 11-6, 11-2, 11-3.
In the men's singles, Lin Shidong defeated Sid Naresh 2-1 with scores of 9-11, 11-4, 11-2.
In the previous two matches, China defeated Australia and India respectively.
