To celebrate the 45th birthday of Japan's phenomenal anime MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM, Tuen Mun tmtplaza is organizing a super hot carnival party and invites people to come and celebrate Gundam's birthday from Nov. 16, 2024 to Jan. 1, 2025.
There will be not only a new super-detailed 3-meter tall RX-78-2 Gundam but also a 4-meter tall inflatable SDEX series RX-78-2 Gundam! In addition, the 1.8-meter models of Gundam EX and ZAKU II (Unidentified Type), two of the machines from the new animation Gundam Requiem for Vengeance, are the first of their kind to be displayed in Hong Kong.
The exhibition opening hours are 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
In addition, the 45th Anniversary Gundam Special Bus on Route 960, which runs between Tuen Mun and Wan Chai, offers a chance to revisit the evolution of Gundam and its classic characters over the past 45 years inside the bus.
A 6.3-meter-high Christmas tree filled with 45 classic Gundam models will be displayed at the Gundam Exhibition, providing an opportunity to not only experience the festive atmosphere in advance, but also to recall Gundam's passionate story.
Over 100 models are available at the BANDAI Gundam limited edition store, of which nearly 40 are limited edition Gundam models.
In addition to the event-themed installations, the exhibition will also feature a Gundam stamp collection activity. Children can also participate in the Gundam model buliding workshop. Click here to register for the event.
