Multiple-entry Individual Visit Scheme for Shenzhen residents officially comes into effect today
The multiple-entry Individual Visit Scheme for Shenzhen residents officially comes into effect today (Dec. 1). In the morning, several intelligent registration machines welcomed numerous Shenzhen residents to process their registrations.
The process for Shenzhen residents to apply for "multiple entries" is similar to the previous "one trip per week" procedure, taking only two minutes to complete, with a registration fee of RMB 80 yuan.
Mr. Yin, a resident of Shenzhen found that his one-trip-per-week visa to Hong Kong was about to expire at the end of December. After learning about the implementation of the multiple-entry Individual Visit Scheme on Dec. 1, he specifically went to the nearest intelligent registration machine.
He said that the registration operation was quick and similar to the previous "one trip per week" process. He simply inserted his Mainland Resident Permit for traveling to Hong Kong and Macao, followed the prompts, and completed the registration in less than two minutes, with a fee of RMB 80.
