According to the Hong Kong Observatory, the northeast monsoon now affecting Guangdong will moderate gradually today. With an easterly airstream affecting the coast of Guangdong, the weather will be mainly fine and temperatures will rise progressively over the region early to midweek this week.
Another surge of the northeast monsoon is expected to reach the coast of southern China in the latter part of this week. It will become cool over the region.
