This morning (Nov. 28), the transport aircraft Y-20 picked up the remains of 43 martyrs of the volunteer army in the Republic of Korea (ROK) to return to China.
74 years ago, the Chinese People's Volunteer Army fought in blood for the motherland and the people to build an unbreakable wall.
China and ROK this morning jointly held the eleventh batch of the remains of martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army in ROK at the temporary housing of the remains of martyrs in Incheon. ROK said that it once again handed over the remains of the 43 martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army and 495 pieces of relics to our country.
In Shenyang, Liaoning Province, in northeast China, outdoor electronic screens and bus stops are filled with slogans about heroes returning home, and more than 3,000 brand-new five-star red flags fly on both sides of the main roads.
Since 2014, China and ROK have followed the principles of international law and humanitarianism, frank friendship, and pragmatic cooperation, and have successfully handed over the remains of 981 martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army and related relics in ROK for 11 consecutive years.
