On November 25, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning held a regular press conference. A reporter asked about two major financial events recently held in Hong Kong. The events drew prominent financial and political leaders and heads of financial institutions from multiple countries and regions worldwide, receiving widespread attention.
Mao Ning congratulated Hong Kong on successfully hosting the two international financial events. She said, "These events demonstrate the international community's strong confidence in Hong Kong’s status as a global financial center, business environment, and development prospects."
She emphasized that with the support of the One Country, Two Systems principle, the backing of the central government, and the concerted efforts of various sectors, Hong Kong is poised to maintain long-term prosperity and stability while enhancing its role as an international financial hub.
China welcomes businesses from all over the world to invest and operate in Hong Kong and encourages global talent to come to Hong Kong to contribute and benefit from the opportunities offered by Hong Kong’s development and the advantages of the "One Country, Two Systems" framework.
