24-year-old man commits charcoal-burning suicide in Pat Heung
At around 3 a.m. today (Dec. 25), the police received a report about a suspected charcoal-burning suicide in a unit on Kam Tin Road in Pat Heung. Police and ambulances arrived at the scene and found a 24-year-old man, surnamed Tsang, unconscious in the bathroom, with a tray of burned charcoal nearby.
The victim was sent to Pok Oi Hospital for treatment, where he was later pronounced dead. No suicide note was found at the scene, and the cause of death is pending an autopsy. Reports indicate that the deceased was unhappy due to relationship issues.
