The 2024 Beijing Changping Forum on Life Science opens today (Nov. 22), and Springer Nature released the list showing that among the top 20 scientists in the world, there are 10 American scientists, accounting for half of the total, and 5 German scientists.
Of the top 20 scientists from China, 13 are from Beijing and one from the University of Hong Kong. According to the data, China has the third largest number of scientists in the top 10% in the world.
