Cathay Pacific announces average salary increase of 3.8% for HK employees, anticipating better development with new three-runway system
Cathay Pacific has sent a letter to employees announcing an average salary increase of 3.8% for eligible staff in Hong Kong, effective from January 1, 2025.
The letter states that eligible employees in Hong Kong who meet performance standards will receive an average salary increase of 3.8%. For employees in other regions, salary adjustments will be determined by the local management team. With the airport's three-runway system, the group will focus on future development opportunities and is confident that the group and its employees will reach new heights together, striving to become one of the best service brands globally.
Additionally, Cathay Pacific previously announced that it would distribute a bonus equivalent to one month's salary to its Hong Kong employees, which will be paid out on January 7, 2025.
