1-minute News | Scientifically revealed: Can these foods really fight cancer?
Have you ever come across the brainwashing statement online that "eating garlic, tomatoes, or black mushrooms can fight cancer"? Is there really such a thing as "anti-cancer" foods?
The truth is, no single food or ingredient can prevent or cure cancer. However, scientists do agree that certain foods contain health-boosting compounds-like anthocyanins, flavonoids, and other antioxidants found in vegetables and fruits, not to mention essential vitamins and minerals.
So how can we scientifically lower the risk of cancer?
Nutritional experts emphasize that a healthy, balanced diet can reduce the risk of cancer. This means including a wide variety of foods with high nutrient density in your meals, such as whole grains, vegetables, fruits, legumes, etc. The World Cancer Research Fund (WRCF) also offers practical cancer prevention tips in the latest report, including maintaining a healthy weight, sticking to moderate exercise, drinking fewer sugary drinks, eating less high-sugar and high-fat foods, limiting processed meat, and drinking less or no alcohol.
