Huawei schedules 'Mate Brand Ceremony' for Nov. 26, pre-orders for Mate70 now open
Huawei has officially announced that the "Huawei Mate Brand Ceremony" will take place on Nov. 26 at 2:30 p.m., where the highly anticipated Mate70 series will be unveiled.
On Nov. 4, Yu Chengdong, Huawei's Executive Director, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Consumer BG, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Intelligent Automotive Solution BU made this announcement revealed on Weibo that the Mate70 would launch in November, calling it possibly the "most powerful Mate in history." As the successor to the Mate60 series, the Mate70 will be the first to feature the full version of Huawei's proprietary HarmonyOS NEXT.
Simultaneously, Huawei announced that pre-orders for the Mate70 series would begin today at 12:08 p.m. via the Huawei online store. The design of the Mate70, teased in promotional materials, has sparked widespread discussion among consumers, with many eagerly anticipating the release of what is being hailed as the "most powerful Mate ever."
As of 1:00 p.m., just under an hour after pre-orders opened, the Mate70 series—comprising the Mate70, Mate70 Pro, and Mate70 Pro+—had already attracted over 843,000 reservations on Huawei's online store.
