Trump to name Brendan Carr to lead Federal Communications Commission
According to CCTV, on Nov. 17, local time, US President-elect Donald Trump released a statement saying that he will appoint Brendan Carr as the chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
Brendan Carr, who was born in 1979, is a long-serving member of the commission and has previously held the position of general counsel at the FCC. He has been unanimously confirmed by the Senate three times and has been nominated to the commission by both President Trump and President Joe Biden.
