HSBC announced today (Nov.8) that it will reduce the interest rate on US dollar savings accounts by 25 basis points, effective Nov. 11, 2024. The annual interest rate will be lowered from 0.75% to 0.5%.
The last adjustment to HSBC's USD savings account interest rate took place on Sept. 20 this year, when the rate was also reduced by 25 basis points.
