Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Donald Trump on his election victory on Nov. 7 (local time) and expressed his readiness for dialogue with the Republican president-elect.
Putin expressed willingness to restore contact with Western leaders if they demonstrate initiative.
He also noted that Trump's statements on the Ukraine conflict during his campaign are worth paying attention to.
