China-US trade means mutual benefit: American companies embrace CIIE

Every November, global business leaders gather in Shanghai to discuss opportunities at the China International Import Expo (CIIE), a grand stage for commerce. American companies have consistently shown great enthusiasm for this opportunity, with their exhibition space at the Expo ranking first for six consecutive years. More and more US firms are participating in the event to better understand the Chinese market, grow their investments, and resonate in the innovation sector, leveraging the Chinese market to support their global business development.

3M has been a consistent participant in the Expo for seven years, and this year also marks the 40th anniversary of 3M China. Leveraging the spillover effects of previous expos, 3M not only connects local and global markets but also facilitates the introduction of innovative global products and the export of local intelligence. During the expo, 3M frequently achieved collaborations, partnering with various players to explore future industry development.

As one of the earliest multinational enterprises to enter China, 3M has resonated with the Chinese market for 40 years, seizing every development opportunity. Currently, the Chinese market is 3M's largest overseas market outside the US, and in the future, 3M will continue to accelerate the localization of the entire chain of R&D, production, and testing, while expanding its network in China.

At this expo, we demonstrated innovative achievements in advanced aerospace technology and our relentless efforts in sustainable aviation, further deepening strategic partnerships with multiple Chinese clients."

GE Aerospace affirmed that even after its independent listing, the company's confidence and commitment to China remain unchanged. It will continue to expand its maintenance network in China, enhance engine maintenance capabilities, and increase investments in manufacturing to support the growth of commercial aircraft production and the development of China's civil aviation industry.
