The second round of group matches in the Purple Group at the WTA Finals in Riyadh kicks off tonight no earlier than 8:30 pm (Beijing time) with a key match between Zheng Qinwen who lost on the opening day and Elena Andreyevna Rybakina.
The two sides have met twice before, at Wimbledon in 2022 and at the China Open in 2023, with Elena Rybakina coming out on top.
