
JD.com's Double 11 sales event, which officially started last night at 8 p.m., has shown significant growth since Oct. 14.
The company reported double-digit increases in transaction volumes, order quantities, and the number of customers placing orders. Over 16,000 brands saw their sales triple compared to last year, with brands generating over 100 million in sales increasing by more than 40% annually. Additionally, 17,000 merchants experienced more than a fivefold increase in order volumes.
In Hong Kong, order volumes during Double 11 doubled, with over 2,000 brands seeing their transaction volumes double. Popular products included smartphones from Apple, Xiaomi, and Asus, while the launch of new Vivo products led to a more than six-fold increase in the brand's sales. JD.com's stock closed today at RMB158.1, up 1.67%.
