Henry's Take EP17 | Suspicion and accusation: Ingrained prejudice has poisoned China-US relations
Welcome to Henry's Take! Henry's Take will take you to the world of Western media and rebut some misunderstandings, biases, or false accusations.
As China rapidly advances in the high-tech sector, the US and its allies have adopted increasingly aggressive measures against China. They have made baseless accusations and imposed unjust sanctions on Chinese companies like Huawei and DJI, as well as their executives. Moreover, the US has even abused its technology to conduct espionage activities on its allies, and pressured them to tighten restrictions on China's access to chip technology.
However, in reality, China's development not only benefits itself but also others. By exporting high-end tech at reasonable prices and investing, China has helped numerous countries, including Kenya, build high-tech infrastructure and mobile networks, thereby improving the quality of life for local populations.
In this episode, Dr. Henry Ho will analyze this issue and share why the US should abandon its prejudices and cease its sanctions against China.
