Super Typhoon Kong-rey is expected to cross the south-central Taiwan area today (Oct. 31), and then turn to move in a northerly direction near the northern part of Fujian.
The Transportation Department and the MTR Corporation Limited (MTRCL) announced that they have received notification from the mainland railroad authorities that due to the expected adverse weather conditions, two high-speed trains between West Kowloon and Fuzhou will be canceled today and tomorrow: Train G3002 from West Kowloon Station to Fuzhou Station today and Train G3001 from Fuzhou to West Kowloon Station tomorrow.
