"Timeless Elegance", a series of performances to commemorate the 130th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Mei Lanfang is in play at Beijing Mei Lanfang Grand Theatre from Oct. 18 to 22. Many famous and emerging artists will take the stage together to present a wonderful Peking Opera feast for the audience.
As an artist of Peking Opera, Mr. Mei Lanfang has created many classic roles with his superb performance skills, beautiful vocal and unique artistic style. His achievements and noble characters had a profound and everlasting influence on the development of Peking Opera.
