Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival
The five-day event will occur at the Central Harbourfront Event Space from Oct. 23 to 27. Over 300 tasting booths will offer extraordinary gourmet experiences from 35 countries, tickets are only HK$40 per person.
This year's new thematic zone, 'Culinary Stars,' will showcase nearly 12 chefs from Michelin-starred restaurants, Bib Gourmand-recommended restaurants, and selected Asia's 50 Best Bars, creating exclusive delicacies for the festival.
In addition to popular wine regions like Bordeaux, Chile, and Australia, the event will showcase emerging stars, including Chinese wines and spirits from Ningxia, Yunnan, and Shandong. Attendees can taste Guizhou Baijiu, a key wine at state banquets, and Jade Dove Cabernet, rated as one of the 'Top 10 Wines of the Year in China' by critic James Suckling.
For an additional HK$350, the public can enjoy the Harbour Lounge. With the stunning scenery of Victoria Harbour, guests can savor various cocktails prepared by star bartenders on the spot. Plus, gashapon machines will dispense small gifts, making it an unforgettable experience.

Free ice cream in Central, Halloween-themed light show at Space Museum
The Hong Kong Space Museum will feature a light show from Oct. 18 to 31, every night from 8:15 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The display will include giant pumpkins, white ghosts, pineapple buns, galaxies, and bats, all accompanied by music, aiming to make the museum a popular spot for photos.
On Halloween night, free ice cream will be distributed to the public near the Observation Wheel at Pier 8 in Central.
