Poetry is the bright pearl of China, carrying a deep historical and cultural heritage and conveying rich emotions with its unique charm. In this fast-paced modern life, people with similar interests and emotions can make friends through poems.

The Double Ninth Festival (Oct. 11), also known as the Chongyang Festival, is a traditional Chinese event observed on the ninth day of the ninth month in accordance with the Chinese lunar calendar. On this day, people worship their ancestors, ascend to high altitudes, wear dogwood, admire chrysanthemums, and drink chrysanthemum wine. Legend has it that through these ways people can avoid disasters.

"Thinking of My Brothers on Mountain Climbing Day," written by Tang Dynasty poet Wang Wei when he was 17 years old and far away from home and felt nostalgic on Chongyang Festival.

During the Chongyang Festival, all families gather together in joyful groups, but Wang Wei is alone in other places as a guest. When he thinks of his brothers in his hometown climbing the heights on that day and putting dogwood upon heads for each other, but realizing that Wang is absent, he feels a sense of sadness.
