
Hong Kong Airlines has announced the launch of a new route between Hong Kong and Sendai, Japan, starting Dec. 18.
The service will operate three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. This new destination will be Hong Kong Airlines' ninth regular route to Japan.
In addition to the new Sendai route, Hong Kong Airlines will increase its flights to Hokkaido's Sapporo to once daily and to Tokyo Narita to five times daily starting this winter.
Details for the Hong Kong-Sendai flights include flight HX584 departing Hong Kong at 9:35 a.m. and arriving in Sendai at 2:35 p.m. The return flight, HX585, will depart Sendai at 3:35 p.m. and arrive in Hong Kong at 8:00 p.m.
