HK$76 for round-trip tickets! HK Express to launch direct flights to Hualien in December

Hong Kong Express Airways Limited (HK Express) announced today (Oct. 8) that it will initiate a new route between Hong Kong and Hualien on Dec. 12, operating four flights weekly directly to Hualien Airport.

HK Express currently operates 144 weekly flights to Taiwan, serving cities including Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung. The Hualien route marks the fourth destination the airline has opened in Taiwan. Travelers can reach this destination, known for its natural beauty and cultural allure, in just two hours, setting off on a journey that promises relaxation and exploration.

To celebrate the launch, HK Express is offering a special limited-time promotion. One-way tickets to Hualien start at just HK$38, which includes one carry-on item weighing up to 7 kilograms.

Passengers can book these promotional fares through the HK Express website or mobile app from Oct. 8 at 11:30 a.m. until Oct. 9 at 11:59 p.m.. Travel dates for this promotion run from Dec. 12, 2024, to March 29, 2025.

Details of the Hong Kong to Hualien promotion are as follows:

Travel period: Dec. 12, 2024, to March 29, 2025

- "Economy Fly" round-trip fare starts at HK$136, including 1 carry-on item and 1 checked bag

- "Flexi Fly" round-trip fare starts at HK$276, including 1 carry-on item and 1 checked bag of up to 20KG
