First large-scale water screen show at sea free to enjoy from Oct. 18
To celebrate the 75th anniversary of National Day, Blue Planet Action is organizing the Wan Chai water screen light tour—a special performance and carnival.
The carnival will be held on Oct. 18 and 19 at WSP, Wan Chai Promenade, with more than 10 free game booths and performances by singers and organizations.
3,000 tickets will be distributed free of charge through online registration by the organizers and government departments, while another 600 tickets will be distributed at the on-site registration counters.
The public can register for the tickets at the Blue Planet Action Facebook page or collect them from Oct. 14 onwards at the Wan Chai District Community Centre. For details, please refer to the latest announcement of Blue Planet Action.
This event is the first large-scale water screen show in Hong Kong since the early 1840s.
More than 10 free game booths were set up in the venue, such as rainbow tossing, balloon shooting, DIY paper-cutting, etc. The public will be entitled to a gift upon completion of at least three hands-on experiences at different booths with their tickets, while stocks last.
In addition, the main stage will be performing a variety of programs on a regular basis. On October 18, the opening ceremony will feature live performances by singers; and on October 19, the Hong Kong Vocal Arts Association will arrange for community singing performances, etc.
