The medical beauty group "perFACE" has announced plans to take over and rebrand parts of the fitness and beauty slimming services from the chain PHYSICAL Fitness & Beauty, which had earlier declared a temporary closure of all its facilities.
The services will now operate under the new brand name "PERFIT". The takeover includes gyms located at Lee Woo Commercial Centre in Mong Kok and Capital Building in Wan Chai.
"perFACE" stated that it intends to continue providing the remaining services to customers who have already purchased gym memberships, personal training sessions, and beauty treatment services. The group is also in discussions with other branch owners to allow clients to use their services at the 11 medical beauty centers operated by "perFACE", hoping to continue operations at the original locations with the cooperation of the landlords and is looking for more suitable locations to minimize customer impact.
"perFACE" has arranged interviews for over 700 former employees of PHYSICAL Fitness & Beauty, and has already retained about 200 staff members. The group plans to hire more former employees gradually, depending on business conditions and market recovery.
