Branch of PHYSICAL Fitness & Beauty in Wan Chai changes to 'HEALTHY' brand

The chain fitness and beauty group PHYSICAL Fitness & Beauty suddenly announced a temporary closure of all its branches last Friday (Sept. 6). It is reported that its branch located in the Capital Building in Wan Chai would be taken over by the "HEALTHY" brand.

According to sources, the first-floor space that was previously occupied by PHYSICAL Fitness & Beauty has had its reception sign changed to "HEALTHY." Outside the building, the new store HEALTHY has displayed a special statement on a pull-up banner, indicating that the store will provide free remaining personal training sessions and beauty treatment services for PHYSICAL Fitness & Beauty customers. Additionally, it noted that all financial or contractual disputes involving PHYSICAL Fitness & Beauty are unrelated to "HEALTHY."

Advertisements for PHYSICAL Fitness & Beauty remain unremoved outside the building.

As of now, Customs has received a total of 1,357 reports regarding PHYSICAL Fitness & Beauty, involving amounts exceeding HK$70 million. Although there are reports that "HEALTHY" will take over the operations, the Consumer Council has reminded consumers that even if a new company is willing to provide services, customers still have the right to request refunds if they find the terms have changed or are unsatisfactory.
