Typhoon Krathon kills 2 people, injures 490 in Taiwan
According to CCTV News, Taiwan disaster response department on Oct. 4 news, as of the evening of Oct. 3, Typhoon Krathon caused by the whole Taiwan disaster accumulated 5985 cases, 2 people died, 490 people were injured, and 1 person was missing.
According to the introduction, as of last night, Taiwan had flooded 456 places, of which the water has not receded 252 places, mainly in Kaohsiung City. Taiwan has more than 410,000 households without water, more than 340,000 households without electricity, mainly in Kaohsiung City, and Pingtung County.
Taiwan Disaster Response Department said that as of 18:30 yesterday, the number of red mudslide alerts 165, distributed in Taitung County, Keelung City, and other 6 counties and cities; mudslide yellow alerts 355, concentrated in Kaohsiung City and other 5 counties and cities.
