Best spots to watch tonight's National Day fireworks display
Today (Oct. 1) marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Tonight at 9 p.m., the much-anticipated National Day fireworks display will take place over Victoria Harbour.
DotDotNews recommends the best spots for viewing tonight's fireworks display for you! These prime spots include Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, Harbour City rooftop car park, Wan Chai Golden Bauhinia Square, Hong Kong Observation Wheel/ Central and Western District Promenade, West Kowloon Cultural District, and Lugard Road on The Peak.
For the first time, the fireworks show will feature a drone display, with over 600 drones forming images of a "panda" and the number "75" in the night sky above the Harbour, lasting for around five minutes.
This will be followed by a 23-minute fireworks spectacle, with a total of 31,888 fireworks launched from three barges and six pontoons.
The entire show will last 28 minutes and can be viewed from either side of the Harbour.
