Liaison office of central govt in HKSAR hosts flag-raising ceremony for National Day

Early in the morning of October 1, the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) held a national flag-raising ceremony to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

The national flag-raising ceremony started at 7:00 am. Zheng Yanxiong, Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR, and representatives of the officials and staff stood solemnly in front of the office building.

The National Day flag-raising ceremony was held at the same time by the National Security Office, the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in Hong Kong, the PLA Hong Kong Garrison, and other organizations of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR.
