On Sept. 23, Taiwan region's Vice Minister of National Defense Hsu Yen-pu delivered a speech at the so-called "US-Taiwan Defense Industry Conference," urging the US to transfer military technology to Taiwan.
According to reports from the Central News Agency, Hsu called on the US to review its regulations on military technology exports and transfer advanced military technologies to Taiwan, including authorizing Taiwan to produce spare parts for F-16s and cutting-edge military equipment such as drones.
