Live | Welcome ceremony for arrival of giant pandas An An & Ke Ke | Sept. 26

The HKSAR government held a welcoming ceremony for the two giant pandas An An and Ke Ke, a gift from the central government, upon their arrival in Hong Kong this morning (Sept. 26).

The Chief Secretary for Administration, Chan Kwok-ki, and the Secretary for Culture, Sports & Tourism, Kevin Yeung, attended the ceremony.

After the ceremony, An An and Ke Ke will be transported to Ocean Park for quarantine for at least 30 days, after which they will need at least another 30 days to adapt to their new environment and hopefully meet the public in mid-December.
