Nathan Law Kwun-chung, who is currently wanted by Hong Kong police, has reportedly been rejected by a prestigious UK university due to allegations of sexual misconduct.

According to media reports yesterday, Law had applied to pursue a Master's degree in public policy at a renowned university in the UK. However, the institution reportedly deemed him unfit for admission due to his involvement in criminal activities, specifically sexual misconduct, and rejected his application.

Earlier than this, Nathan Law has been suspended from Washington's Hong Kong Democracy Council following accusations that he had sexually assaulted a former assistant.

Sources further revealed that Law had been planning to pursue a postgraduate degree in the UK since last year, allegedly to evade the fallout from the sexual assault accusations.

To bolster his application, he even sought a recommendation from Chris Patten, the last British Governor of HK and Chancellor of the University of Oxford, who has been a vocal critic of the Chinese government.

The same sources also noted that during the investigation into the sexual misconduct allegations involving his former assistant, Law repeatedly contradicted himself. Initially, he denied having any relationship with the victim but later admitted that the encounter was consensual, displaying what was described as a profound lack of respect for women.
