HKO predicts cooling temperatures next week

The Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) forecasts a change in the city's weather over the coming days. Influenced by a broad trough of low pressure, an increase in sudden showers is expected during the weekend.

A northeast monsoon is anticipated to reach South China by next Sunday (Sept. 22), leading to a gradual decrease in temperatures early next week. On Monday (Sept. 23) and Tuesday (Sept. 24), the minimum temperatures are expected to drop to around 24°C.
