Huawei Mate XT triple-fold phone sells out immediately on launch

Huawei's triple-fold screen smartphone, the Mate XT, went on sale Thursday (Sept. 20) at 10:08 a.m. and was reported to be immediately sold out on numerous online platforms including Huawei's own store, JD.com, and Tmall's flagship store.

Reports indicate that Huawei's Executive Director, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Consumer BG, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Intelligent Automotive Solution BU, Yu Cheng-dong, made an appearance this morning at the flagship store on East Nanjing Road in Shanghai to attend the first delivery ceremony of the Mate XT.

During the ceremony, Yu stated that the sales of the Huawei triple-fold screen phone far exceeded expectations, and the team is currently working overtime to expand production capacity.
