HK Customs enhances electronic payment services
Hong Kong Customs enhances the payment functions of electronic payment terminals at entry and exit control points from today (September 16).
The public and passengers can continue to make payments using cash, Octopus Card, EPS, and Faster Payment System (FPS), as well as through the newly-added Mainland e-wallets, including WeChat Pay, Alipay, or UnionPay.
Incoming passengers carrying dutiable commodities not entitled to or in excess of their exempt quantities should declare them to Customs officers stationed at the entry control point, and pay the duties. Otherwise, they may be prosecuted or fined.
