Xiaomi aims to strengthen new energy vehicle cooperation with Africa
At the eighth China-Africa Entrepreneurs Conference in Beijing, Xiaomi's founder and CEO, Lei Jun, highlighted the company's operations in 16 African countries, including Egypt and South Africa.
According to Lei, Xiaomi plans to increase its investments in Africa and seeks to collaborate with African businesses in emerging industries like new energy vehicles. Lei emphasized the strong partnership between China and African nations, aiming for mutual development and success.
The China-Africa Entrepreneurs Conference is an important supporting event for the 2024 Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Summit.
