Hospital Authority: 5 men, 4 women injured during Typhoon Yagi
The Hong Kong Observatory issued Strong Wind Signal No.3 at 12.40 pm today (Sept. 6).
The Home Affairs Department has opened 30 temporary shelters in various districts for a total of 274 people.
As of 12.30 pm today, the Fire Services Department, the Government's 1823 Call Centre and the Leisure and Cultural Services Department received 75, 41 and three reports of tree collapses respectively, while the Drainage Services Department confirmed one case of flooding. In addition, the Government received one report of a landslip.
The Hospital Authority said that as of 12.30 pm today, nine members of the public (five men and four women) were injured during the storm and received treatment at the Accident and Emergency Departments of public hospitals.
