
A delegation from the Central Government came to Hong Kong to explain the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) at the request of the HKSAR.
Zheng Yanxiong, Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in HKSAR, delivered a speech at the seminar.
He said that at a time when the whole country is deeply studying the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, the visit of the delegation of the Central Government to Hong Kong to deliver a speech on the spirit of the Plenary Session fully embodies the great importance and care to Hong Kong.
According to Zheng, the Decision, which involves reform measures related to Hong Kong, is full of hope and trust for the city to better play a unique role in providing a strategic pivot, and brought significant opportunities for Hong Kong to move from governance to prosperity.
Zheng also said that he was pleased to see that during this period, the SAR government and various sectors of the community have taken active actions to organize various types of learning and seminar activities, which have rapidly set off a wave of learning, publicity and implementation of the spirit of the Third Plenary Session.
